We’re pleased to announce a new tool on MyHealth.Alberta.ca called Find Healthcare. This replaces the Healthcare Locator.
This improved tool makes it easier for you to find facilities and services. Using your postal code or location, you’ll be able to find the facilities and services closest to you.
Other benefits are:
We are working to make a personal health record feature available on MyHealth.Alberta.ca. With a personal health record (PHR), you'll be able to track your height, weight, allergies, conditions, and more. You’ll also be able to get information from the provincial electronic health record. This means you'll be able to see a list of your medications, immunizations, and some of your lab test results.
The public launch of the PHR has been delayed to ensure that all Albertans can easily access and use the PHR on a variety of devices, including smartphones and tablets. The Government of Alberta is also replacing its current PHR technology. Work to implement the new technology is expected to be complete in December 2018.
When launched to the public, the PHR will provide Albertans with a secure place to access and store their personal health information. This will give Albertans a tool to be better informed and empowered to take an active role in the management of their own health.
