The influenza vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine are given separately. You may choose to get both immunizations at the same appointment or at 2 different appointments.

Book an immunization:
All Albertans 5 years of age and older
Children under 5 years of age
Many pharmacies will also offer walk-in COVID-19 and influenza immunization.
Call Health Link at 811 if:
To book an appointment for a routine immunization (childhood vaccine) for your child, call 811 or your nearest AHS public health or community health centre. Try to call at least 4 weeks in advance of when your child’s vaccine is due.

RSV vaccine needs to be spaced at least 2 weeks from influenza and COVID-19 vaccines and 6 weeks from all other vaccines.
If you are age 60 years or older and live in a continuing care or supportive living facility, you will be offered RSV vaccine at your facility.
If you are age 75 years or older and do not live in a continuing care or supportive living facility, you can book an appointment for RSV vaccine.
Many pharmacies will also offer walk-in RSV immunization.

Post-secondary healthcare studentsIf you need an immunization or a skin test for tuberculosis for your healthcare training program, check with your program to find out if you can get immunized through your school. Another option is to contact a private travel health clinic, your doctor, or your local pharmacist and pay for the immunization you need.
